Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. I decided to post the first five books based upon actual length. However, the last five novels are books that felt like they took me forever to finish.
1. A Game of Thrones series, George R. R. Martin
2. Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling
3. Lord of the Rings series, J.R.R. Tolkien
4. The Kinsman Chronicles, Jill Williamson
5. The Holy Bible
6. House of Jaguar, Mike Bond
7. The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher, Kate Summerscale
8. Dance of Thieves, Mary E. Pearson
9. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, Stuart Turton
10. The Zookeeper’s Wife, Diane Ackerman
Great list! I probably should have lumped books (like the Potter books) into series, but it’s still fun to see which books have made several lists this week!

It was hard to think of as many because so many were parts of series!

That’s true, lots of series have several long books. I just let Goodreads tell me which of my books were the longest, though, so I took the easy route.

Really hoping I get the chance to read Dance of Thieves soon! Being a broke bookworm os difficult.

I probably should have lumped series together as well, but I would only have had a list of like 4 if I’d done that! I don’t remember The Zookeeper’s Wife being so long, but it has been a while since I read it. And I have The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle on my TBR.

The Zookeeper’s Wife took me a couple of times starting to get through. Wasn’t physically as long, but bookmotionally long hah.
