Top Ten Tuesday: Longest Books I’ve Ever Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. I decided to post the first five books based upon actual length. However, the last five novels are books that felt like they took me forever to finish.

1. A Game of Thrones series, George R. R. Martin

2. Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling

3. Lord of the Rings series, J.R.R. Tolkien

4. The Kinsman Chronicles, Jill Williamson

5.  The Holy Bible

6. House of Jaguar, Mike Bond

7. The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher, Kate Summerscale

8. Dance of Thieves, Mary E. Pearson

9. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, Stuart Turton

10. The Zookeeper’s Wife, Diane Ackerman

      1. That’s true, lots of series have several long books. I just let Goodreads tell me which of my books were the longest, though, so I took the easy route.

    1. The Zookeeper’s Wife took me a couple of times starting to get through. Wasn’t physically as long, but bookmotionally long hah.
